Axolotl Pellets
For those who are not fond of live or frozen food, or just simply want to add a variety to your little one's diet - Axolotl pellets are a great choice. These pellets are high in nutrition, and almost have the same nutritional value of an earthworm. For best results, feed with regular food or switch with regular food every other feeding. Recommended for Axolotls 4" or larger.

How much food do I feed my Axolotl?
There is no amount that is set in stone. Every Axolotl will eat a different amount depending on the Axolotl itself, how big and old the Axolotl is, how active the Axolotl is, is the Axolotl getting ready to mate, and much more. It is recommended to feed your Axolotl every other or ever third day.
Start off by feeding a portion you are sure the Axolotl will consume. Once the Axolotl has completely consumed all the food feed another round. Do so until the Axolotl is unable to consume this amount within a few minutes of eating. Do this should give you an idea of how much your Axolotl can eat. Once you figure out an approx amount feed this amount regularly every second or third day.
